Wi-Fi and network support in Western Sydney

Unreliable Wi-Fi, a new router or a printer that no longer connects can involve more than one device.

We help Western Sydney customers check the computer, network and connected equipment together and understand where the difficulty begins.

Check the connection from the device to the network

We can investigate coverage, configuration and physical connections before suggesting extra equipment. If the internet provider's service is involved, we explain the relevant findings and next steps. You can include email, printing and other connection tasks in the same discussion.

  • Investigate Wi-Fi dropouts and failed connections.
  • Check router and computer settings relevant to the fault.
  • Reconnect printers and other supported network devices.
  • Compare wired and wireless behaviour where useful.
  • Discuss coverage and suitable network equipment.
  • Help identify issues to raise with the internet provider.

Getting ready for the appointment

  • Note where the connection works and where it fails.
  • Tell us whether phones and other computers are affected.
  • Have the router, printer and normal equipment available.
  • Keep details of recent provider or equipment changes.

Common questions

Is the problem my Wi-Fi or the internet service?

Yes. We can check how the current wireless setup reaches the rooms you use and discuss suitable placement or equipment changes after assessment.

Can you connect my printer to the network?

We explain when the symptoms point beyond the home network and what information may help the provider investigate. We do not repair its external network.

Would new Wi-Fi equipment solve the issue?

Keep the current router until the problem has been assessed. A settings issue or device fault can look like a need for replacement equipment.

What if the provider needs to fix the connection?

We help set up supported wireless printers and check printing from the computer. Include the model and any error or offline message when enquiring.

How do I find out about pricing?

Our minimum labour time is one hour per job, and many jobs only need that hour. If more time is needed, we bill in 15 minute blocks. We do not charge call-out fees or travel costs. For onsite work, the time starts when your technician arrives. Parts cost extra if needed. The total depends on the fault and the work required, so we can give a more accurate estimate after diagnosis. Call us on 1300 376 225 to discuss pricing, or use our repair estimate form to send the details.

How long should I allow for the job?

Many jobs take around an hour, which is our minimum labour time per job. If extra time is needed, we bill in 15 minute blocks. After diagnosing the issue, your technician can give a more accurate time estimate and explain the options, taking the work needed and your budget into account. Some repairs need parts or work offsite, which can affect the time before the computer is ready.
