Set up your new Mac
Get your Mac ready with accounts, applications and connected equipment, including help if you are moving from Windows. Include the accounts and connected equipment that need to be ready at the end.
New computer setup
For Mac help across Western Sydney, we support hardware repairs, macOS and new-computer setup. We also assist with the email, printer, Wi-Fi and file tasks that need to work alongside the device itself.
The age and model matter when considering a Mac repair or upgrade. Intel and Apple silicon devices can have different options, so we explain what is suitable for the actual computer instead of assuming every Mac can be changed in the same way.
The services below cover repairs and everyday setup for your Mac. You can discuss related tasks together with our Western Sydney team.

New computer setup
Have unwanted Mac apps, browser changes or suspicious warnings investigated, with practical advice about keeping the computer secure. Tell us about unexpected remote access as well as unfamiliar messages.
Virus and malware removal
Set up Apple Mail or Outlook, or get help when messages will not send, arrive or appear where expected. Mention whether webmail and other devices still show the messages normally.
Email and connection help
Ask us to investigate freezing, slow apps or long startup times and explain which changes may help. The work should address the cause rather than assume extra memory is always needed.
Help with a slow computer
Get a Mac that drops Wi-Fi or cannot join the network checked, alongside the equipment it connects to. A router change or recent network problem is useful background for the assessment.
Network and Wi-Fi support
Set up a printer, external display or storage device and check the adapters and software your Mac needs. We can discuss a group of connected devices as one practical setup job.
Network and Wi-Fi support
Bring photos and documents from the previous computer and organise them so you can find them on your Mac. Applications and licences are considered separately from copying documents and photos.
New computer setup
Arrange a suitable Mac backup and learn how to check that the files you need are included. You can ask how to verify the backup after the appointment.
Backups and data recovery
Ask about a blank screen, a Mac stuck at the Apple logo or an error that stops it starting. A loading error and a complete lack of power require different checks.
Computer startup help
Provide the model, approximate year and photos so we can discuss assessment and repairs for damaged or faulty parts. Normal diagnostic fees apply even if the repair is uneconomical or declined.
Hardware repairs and upgrades
Get advice when files disappear or a drive will not open, before making more changes to the storage. Further attempts on a failing drive may affect recovery options, so contact us first.
Backups and data recovery
Have storage, startup items, updates and backups reviewed, with clear advice about any issues worth addressing. You can include smaller software and connection issues in the same enquiry.
Computer health checks
Discuss repairs, available upgrades and a replacement Mac in the context of your applications, files and budget. A suitable upgrade is considered only where the particular model supports it.
Upgrades and purchase advice
Ask about inspecting a damaged Mac and preparing the findings your insurer has requested. Keep the insurer's instructions available before approving repair work.
Computer insurance reports
Contact us to check whether an email, macOS or application issue can be handled remotely on your working Mac. We discuss suitability first because remote support cannot resolve every fault.
Remote computer supportYou can arrange Apple Mac hardware repairs, software support or new setup through our Western Sydney team. Tell us the computer and work so we can discuss a visit.
The amount of work and any replacement parts determine the total. We have a one hour minimum labour time per job, followed by 15 minute blocks. There are no call-out or travel fees, onsite time starts on arrival and parts are additional when required. Include the model and generation if known, especially when the job may need parts. MacBook and iMac names span different construction and software support.

We assess whether the repair is useful for the way you use the computer and discuss replacement where appropriate. Normal diagnostic fees apply when a serious fault makes repair uneconomical or you decline the proposed work. We can discuss the setup work needed if replacement becomes the more useful choice.
Our service is independent of Apple Mac. Manufacturer warranty enquiries should go to its support team before you book paid repairs with us.
Many jobs take around an hour, which is our minimum labour time. The technician can estimate more accurately after diagnosis; parts availability or offsite work can affect the completion time.

Our technicians visit homes and small businesses from Parramatta and the Hills through Blacktown to Penrith, as well as the Fairfield, Bankstown and Liverpool districts. Choose your location for local information, or call 1300 376 225 to discuss your computer and arrange help. For the wider service, visit Western Sydney computer repairs.
